    Wormy Chestnut

A combination of three eucalypt species come under the Wormy Chestnut banner. Pieces are straw blonde to light brown in colour and are selected for their featured appearance, the result of years of wildfires, drought and insect attacks. Gum veins, pinholes and squiggly worm marks are all desired features that give this timber a rustic charm.

    Tasmanian Oak - Raw Effect

Our Raw Effect oil incorporates a touch of white pigment to counteract the persistent 'wet-look' that may arise after applying a clear coat. This unique finish is meticulously crafted to preserve the natural essence of lighter coloured timbers, giving them a genuine 'Raw' appearance, all the while safeguarding them with our durable hard wax oil finish.

    Tasmanian Oak

Tasmanian Oak is the cumulation of three Eucalyptus hardwoods grown and sourced in Tasmania. It is a light coloured, straight grain timber that includes minimal feature, making it the perfect understated timber to compliment any furniture design. Colours within the species range from straw to a light red brown.

American White Oak - Raw Effect

Our Raw Effect oil incorporates a touch of white pigment to counteract the persistent 'wet-look' that may arise after applying a clear coat. This unique finish is meticulously crafted to preserve the natural essence of lighter coloured timbers, giving them a genuine 'Raw' appearance, all the while safeguarding them with our durable hard wax oil finish.

    American White Oak

Popular for its unique and coarse figure American Oak is overall quite light in colour with light to dark brown heartwood. The cellular appearance on the end grain makes it a popular choice when visible end grain is displayed through a particular design. Grown in America's eastern states and sourced from local specialist timber suppliers.

    American Black Walnut

The naturally darkest and most desired timber we work with. Walnut has a light to dark chocolatey brown heartwood with creamy white sapwood and is super smooth in colour and tactility. It’s a pleasure to work with and a treat to dine on.

    Clear Hardwax Oil Matte

The original Hardwax Oil is based on natural vegetable oils and waxes. It is micro-porous and does not crack, flake, peel or blister. Good for the environment and good for you! Our hardwax oil accentuates the natural colour and grain of the timber, giving it a permanent "wet look". Resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water etc. and virtually anything your kids can throw at it. Dirt can easily be removed without trace and renovating, even partially, is easy. Just clean and re-treat worn areas: No sanding, no repair marks and no removal of previous coats required.American White Oak

    Raw Effect Hardwax Oil

Our Raw Effect finish accentuates the natural colour and grain of the timber, giving it a permanent "wet look".  Raw Effect counters this exaggeration of the wood's colour, leaving the surface looking as near to natural as possible. The finish is close to being invisible to the eye and retains as much of the wood's natural colour as possible.   furniture maker near me, custom furniture, dining table adelaide, custom dining set

Your home tells a story. What does your furniture say?

When our clients came to us, they were in the throes of building their dream home - a thoughtfully designed space with a walkway that ran between the dining area and wine room.

They needed a dining table that didn’t just fit the space, but enhanced the way they used it.

Thats where we came in - working 1 on 1 to co-create a truly custom dining table that solved their challenge.

The design process led us to explore an avocado shaped table - the perfect blend of form and function that helped create a social space where guests could see each other, laugh, and connect over a meal and a bottle of wine.

Finished in black American Oak with brass accents, the table ties seamlessly with the home’s modern palette, adding warmth and cohesion to the space.

The result? A piece of furniture that’s as unique as the home itself. A table that not only fits, but belongs.

Happy New Year 2025

As we farewell 2024, we can’t help but feel immense gratitude for the incredible clients, collaborators, and suppliers who made this year unforgettable. Thank you for trusting us to bring your visions to life and for inspiring us with your passion for unique, handcrafted furniture.

This year was truly “The Year of the Chair”—and so much more. We proudly released the Sol Chair, the versatile Makai Outdoor Range, Canyon Cabinets, and crowd favourite - Malibu. These pieces and our ever growing range of chairs became the cornerstone of so many homes, and we were thrilled to see how you embraced them. With the much-anticipated Mason Chair ready to join the lineup soon, our collection is growing in ways we couldn’t be more excited about.

But 2024 was about more than just new designs—it was the year we leaned deeply into co-creation, a process close to our hearts. Sitting down with you to craft furniture tailored to your homes and lives reminded us why we started this journey. Co-creating is more than just furniture—it’s storytelling, connection, and creating pieces that hold meaning for a lifetime.

Looking ahead, we’re tightening our focus, bidding farewell to some of our current designs to make space for fresh creations that align with our evolving vision. Expect thoughtful new releases that reflect our passion for craftsmanship and originality. We’re also planning to activate our showroom in ways that will inspire and excite.

Here’s to a new year of crafting, creating, and celebrating the stories that shape homes.

We can’t wait to show you what 2025 has in store.
