    Wormy Chestnut

A combination of three eucalypt species come under the Wormy Chestnut banner. Pieces are straw blonde to light brown in colour and are selected for their featured appearance, the result of years of wildfires, drought and insect attacks. Gum veins, pinholes and squiggly worm marks are all desired features that give this timber a rustic charm.

    Tasmanian Oak - Raw Effect

Our Raw Effect oil incorporates a touch of white pigment to counteract the persistent 'wet-look' that may arise after applying a clear coat. This unique finish is meticulously crafted to preserve the natural essence of lighter coloured timbers, giving them a genuine 'Raw' appearance, all the while safeguarding them with our durable hard wax oil finish.

    Tasmanian Oak

Tasmanian Oak is the cumulation of three Eucalyptus hardwoods grown and sourced in Tasmania. It is a light coloured, straight grain timber that includes minimal feature, making it the perfect understated timber to compliment any furniture design. Colours within the species range from straw to a light red brown.

American White Oak - Raw Effect

Our Raw Effect oil incorporates a touch of white pigment to counteract the persistent 'wet-look' that may arise after applying a clear coat. This unique finish is meticulously crafted to preserve the natural essence of lighter coloured timbers, giving them a genuine 'Raw' appearance, all the while safeguarding them with our durable hard wax oil finish.

    American White Oak

Popular for its unique and coarse figure American Oak is overall quite light in colour with light to dark brown heartwood. The cellular appearance on the end grain makes it a popular choice when visible end grain is displayed through a particular design. Grown in America's eastern states and sourced from local specialist timber suppliers.

    American Black Walnut

The naturally darkest and most desired timber we work with. Walnut has a light to dark chocolatey brown heartwood with creamy white sapwood and is super smooth in colour and tactility. It’s a pleasure to work with and a treat to dine on.

    Clear Hardwax Oil Matte

The original Hardwax Oil is based on natural vegetable oils and waxes. It is micro-porous and does not crack, flake, peel or blister. Good for the environment and good for you! Our hardwax oil accentuates the natural colour and grain of the timber, giving it a permanent "wet look". Resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water etc. and virtually anything your kids can throw at it. Dirt can easily be removed without trace and renovating, even partially, is easy. Just clean and re-treat worn areas: No sanding, no repair marks and no removal of previous coats required. American White Oak

    Raw Effect Hardwax Oil

Our Raw Effect finish accentuates the natural colour and grain of the timber, giving it a permanent "wet look".  Raw Effect counters this exaggeration of the wood's colour, leaving the surface looking as near to natural as possible. The finish is close to being invisible to the eye and retains as much of the wood's natural colour as possible.   furniture maker near me, custom furniture, dining table adelaide, custom dining set

The year that was - 2025 -

Not a year of shortcuts or quick wins.
A year of showing up, working things through, and doing the quiet, unglamorous parts properly.

This recap isn’t about finished pieces and highlights. It’s a review of the processes behind them. The hours in the workshop, the problem-solving, the collaboration, and the people who make the work what it is.

2025 asked a lot of us, but it also reinforced what matters most: good work, done with care, alongside people who value the same things.

We’re incredibly grateful for our community of designers and clients who trust the process and stand behind what we do. Your support carries more weight than you realise.

Here’s to the work behind the scenes, the lessons learned, and looking forward to what comes next.
